- 1965
- New branch opened in Dalby, Queensland
- 1970
- All branches become John Deere dealers following acquisition of Chamberlain by John Deere
- 1983
- Second Queensland branch opened in Goondiwindi
- 1992
- Entered construction and forestry market upon purchase of Brisbane company holding franchise in Queensland and Northern New South Wales
- 1999
- Appointed Kobelco dealer for Queensland and Northern New South Wales
- 2001
- Appointed Australian distributor for Vibromax Compaction Equipment and Engcon Tiltrotors, quickhitches, and compactors. Acquired agricultural branches in Dubbo, Wellington, Coonamble, and Warren
- 2004
- Purchased John Deere franchise in Beaudesert, Queensland
- 2007
- Acquired Yatala, Tweed Heads South and Albany Creek John Deere franchises, enabling Chesterfield Australia to market the entire range of John Deere product groups
